Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend / holidays as needed
On-Call: TBD
Possible Role: May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
Responsibilities: Coordinates total nursing care for patients
Participates in patient and family teaching
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel
Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units
Requirements: RN Licensure
2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience required
Previous travel experience (minimum 3 months) required
Charge RN experience required
ACLS & BLS required
BSN preferred
Unit Information: EMR: Cerner
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–1:5
Average daily patient census: 22
