Our client is currently seeking a skilled NEC Site Supervisor to join their team in Derby, working on an infrastructure project. This is a contract role with a minimum duration of 6 months, extending up to 18 months of work.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as stated in the contract and in a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation.
2. Attend meetings with the contractor, including weekly Supervisor Coordination meetings and ad-hoc site activities meetings.
3. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Client, Quantity Surveyor, consultants, Contractor, CDM Principal Designer and Building Regulations Principal Designer.
4. Prepare and issue weekly reports to the Project Manager and team via Cemar.
5. Ensure the contractor maintains a complete set of the latest drawings for Supervisor referencing on site.
6. Review design proposals and Compensation Events for the works.
7. Inspect setting out, levels, materials delivered, and ongoing works for compliance with the Works Information.
8. Maintain records and mark up drawings with installation, erection, and test dates.
9. Use CEMAR to highlight any defects, produce a defects register, and ensure timely resolution.
10. Witness tests required by the Works Information, maintain records, and communicate unsatisfactory results to the PM.
11. Review handover documentation and conduct final inspections, participating in the snagging process.
Job Requirements:
12. NEC accreditation with strong understanding of NEC 4 Option A & E
13. Security Check (SC) clearance
14. Experience in delivering infrastructure projects, including S278s, highways, small civils, footbridges, and structures
15. Proficiency in using CEMAR for managing defects and reporting
16. Ability to spend a minimum of 4 days a week on site
