We are seeking a proactive and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This is a key leadership role where you will take ownership of your area, driving high standards in organisation, efficiency, and team performance.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, proven warehousing skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. As our operation evolves into a more technology-driven environment, a tech-savvy and adaptable mindset will be essential.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
* Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes.
* Plan and manage staff rotas and oversee holiday scheduling.
* Manage data entry and ensure accurate use of NetSuite.
* Oversee the returns process and ensure compliance with procedures.
* Complete all paperwork for inbound containers and manage the unloading process.
* Lead perpetual stock counts and maintain accurate inventory.
* Coordinate order picking and oversee daily warehouse operations.
* Work closely with the warehouse team and step in to assist with tasks such as picking and unloading when required.
* Order consumables and monitor stock levels.
* Contribute to strategy planning and continuous improvement projects.
* Ensure vehicle checks and maintenance records are completed and up to date.
* Keep near-miss and accident records accurate and current.
* Communicate effectively, both face-to-face and via email, across all levels of the business.
* Work closely with the Dispatch team and liaise with hauliers.
* Report directly to the General Manager to deal with issues proactively and keep operations running smoothly at all times.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
* Valid Forklift licence.
* IOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards).
* Experience using NetSuite or other WMS systems.
* Proven warehousing background with supervisory/leadership experience.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with inventory and order management processes.
* Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel to manage data effectively.
