We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Onley (category C training prison) and HMP Rye Hill (category B). The role is based in Rugby, Northamptonshire and offers the opportunity to develop a full Psychology service within the integrated mental health team. The successful applicant will clinically supervise 2 Assistant Psychologists and work with patients who have a broad range of complex presentations. Suitable applicants should be experienced with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma, be familiar with trauma-informed approaches, and enjoy working as part of a team.
Hours
Monday to Friday 9am–5pm. 2.5 days at each site in the same geographical location; flexibility with working hours is available.
Salary
This is a full-time role offering up to £66,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties
As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training, supervision and reflective practice
* Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
* Deliver and oversee 1:1 psychological interventions and group interventions as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
* Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
* Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

Qualifications
* Full HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
* Experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology
* Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
* Experience working with psychological trauma
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
