About Alzheimer Scotland
Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and facilitate a wide range of community activities for people living with dementia and their carers/families, to help maintain social activities, build relationships and promote community connections.
* Develop ideas leading to exciting and new activities promoting brain health.
* Plan and deliver community activities, ensuring reflective practice through activity evaluations and listening to feedback from the people supported.
What You’ll Have
* Positive approach to dementia and brain health with a passion to make a difference.
* Good communication and computer skills, a caring attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
* Ability to plan activities in advance and lead volunteers supporting at your group.
