Job Description
Site supervisors oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the right quality standards. Their duties are shared across the site and the project office, often updating the management team on site progress, risks, and issues.
Duties Typically Include
1. Tracking and reporting project progress to ensure adherence to schedules
2. Allocating resources efficiently such as material and labour
3. Resolving conflicts in a timely manner
4. Working collaboratively with various project departments
5. Managing administrative responsibilities including timesheets, snag lists, and record-keeping
6. Ensuring site personnel follow health & safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations
7. Preparing site areas ahead of scheduled work
8. Communicating clearly and concisely

Typical Working Week
40 hours per week, with start times typically between 07:00 & 08:00, including paid 8 hours at college.

Minimum Requirements
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3 / D or above, or Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
Must have a full UK driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
This role is based in the North Thames valley region (between Oxford and Aylesbury), and candidates must be willing to travel within this area.
Desired Requirements
Passion and commitment to site management, with previous relevant work experience or qualifications in construction being advantageous.
Key Training/College Information
K10 will enroll you in a Level 4 Construction Site Supervision course, funded through an accredited training provider. The apprenticeship lasts 36 months.
