Payroll Specialist / Senior Payroll Specialist
We are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take overall responsibility for ensuring all payroll matters are handled with great care and in full compliance with all aspects of legislation whilst maintaining positive relationships with payroll stakeholders.
Location: Flexible for this role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of our Aberdeen or Edinburgh office.
Responsibilities
* Process end-to-end payroll, including complex payroll scenarios and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payroll and taxation legislation.
* Administer auto-enrolment processes, including re-enrolment
* Conduct data analysis using strong Excel skills
* Organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
* Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external clients
* Manage client expectations and promptly resolve any payroll-related issues
About You
* A leader of your work and your professional learning
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
* Previous experience of working Pay Circle payroll software would be advantageous, although not essential.
* Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
