About You
* Deliver credible and practical advice on mitigation of risk, interpretation of regulations, and adoption of policies in supply‑chain risk management.
* Develop quality assurance and governance to ensure regulatory and group compliance.
* Translate global policies, standards, and functional rules to local ways of working.
* Develop a process for ensuring accurate third‑party inventory covering all relevant regulatory requirements.
* Ensure that AZH meets all relevant regulatory and Allianz Group requirements.
* Work closely with the COO pillar and safeguarding functions to embed required standards.
* Provide ongoing outsourcing operational support, guidance, and expertise to stakeholders.
* Lead the procurement and supplier management outsourcing notification process to regulatory supervisory authorities.
* Lead internal audit and compliance actions for procurement and supplier management as required.
* Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices to align with Allianz's Global Sustainability strategy.
Essential Skills
* Practical understanding of applicable regulations for a procurement function in a UK Financial Services entity.
* Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills at senior and executive levels.
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.
* Strategic mindset and problem‑solving skills.
* Analytical mindset.
* Excellent stakeholder and change management skills.
* Experience managing diverse stakeholders at all business levels.
* Understanding of supplier assurance practices.

Desirable Skills
* Educated to A‑level standard or equivalent.
* Understanding of TPRM.
* Experience interacting with the PRA, FCA and/or the Bank of England.
* Experience aligning cross‑country Group vs Local standards.
* Professional qualification (e.g., MCIPS/FCIPS).
