What We Look for in a Seasonal Cellar Team Member (Summer Role):
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in keeping the pub running smoothly behind the scenes during our busy summer period. This is a hands-on, seasonal position that requires someone proactive, reliable, and physically capable.
Main Responsibilities:
*
Assisting with and organising deliveries, including moving and storing stock safely
*
Rotating stock correctly to ensure quality and minimise waste
*
Stocking fridges and ensuring all products are readily available for service
*
Leading and supporting bar backs during busy shifts to ensure efficient service
*
Carrying out weekly beer line cleaning to maintain quality and hygiene standards
*
General maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing toilet seats, and basic upkeep
*
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, including jet washing the cellar and deep cleaning ice machines
*
Keeping the cellar, storage areas, and bar back spaces clean, organised, and compliant
*
Managing the bin yard, including organising waste, tidying the area, and compacting cardboard
This is a physically demanding role, especially during our peak summer months, so it is essential that you are comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods.
You’ll need to be a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed. Full training will be provided, and you’ll gain a solid understanding of our operations and products along the way.
