Job Title: Optometrist

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time (2 days per week)
Hours: 7.5 hours per day

We have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join us as we continue to expand across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Assess and counsel patients for cataract surgery, including discussing expected outcomes.
* Ensure patients understand the risks and benefits of surgery in a considerate manner reflecting their needs.
* Provide reassurance from the start to the end of the patient journey.
* Ensure post‑operative management is undertaken with support from medical staff.
* Undertake YAG laser procedures after training.
* Work alongside a broader clinical team to deliver safe, effective, and efficient eye care.
Qualifications
* Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) and at least 12 months post‑registration experience.
* Motivated to develop with a keen interest in the clinical side of optometry.
* Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Understanding of clinical governance and a commitment to providing the highest quality care to all patients.
