Role: Workday Administrator (12 month FTC)

Workday is one of the most critical enterprise systems, supporting HR, Finance, and Operations, and forming part of a wider ecosystem with platforms like Salesforce that underpin our fundraising, programme delivery, and organisational performance.
This will be a 12 month maternity cover FTC where you will be hands-on across the system configuration, administration and support across HCM and finance modules.
Some responsibilities include:
* Own day-to-day administration of Workday
* Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, condition rules, and calculated fields.
* Have a significant support role in the Workday releases, carrying out testing, highlighting impacts, and ensuring successful adoption.
* Partner with internal business stakeholders to implement change and enhancements.
* Provide tier-2/3 support for system issues, resolving complex queries and escalating where necessary.
* Train and guide end users, sharing knowledge to improve adoption and system understanding.
* Work closely with the Workday AMS partner in your administrator capacity to support the phased rollout of the roadmap, ensuring configuration, data, and process readiness. This will have a direct impact on the performance of the system and its effectiveness across the organisation.
* Partner with stakeholders to prepare for new Workday features, coordinating system updates with clear communications, drafting training briefs, and supporting user training to ensure successful adoption
Required skills:
* Proven experience as a Workday Administrator, ideally with exposure to both HCM and Finance modules.
* Strong knowledge of Workday business processes, security administration, and reporting tools.
* Experience managing Workday releases, testing, and system updates.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business language.
