The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the safety standards within the organisation, ensuring compliance with current legislation and promoting a positive safety culture.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Act as the main point of contact for all HSE matters within the organisation.
* Promote and develop a positive safety culture across the business, encouraging proactive safety management.
* Maintain compliance with current health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
* Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and accident investigations to ensure continuous improvement.
* Deliver HSE training to staff at all levels and support ongoing education and awareness.
* Prepare for and facilitate external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NEBOSH certificate or diploma is essential.
* Proven experience in a similar HSE role within a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead and influence others in the adoption of HSE practices.
* Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and detailed accident investigations.
