Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator (CAT 2 Ophthalmology)
This is a part-time post for 22.5 hours per week.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Administration Team (CAT 2 Ophthalmology) as a Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC). If you are a highly organised and driven individual who is passionate about patient care and embraces change, we have the role for you. Once fully trained we offer hybrid working as well; so working on-site and remotely at home. The post is based at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, where we provide a first-class, efficient, pro-active and patient-focused admin service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for helping provide a smooth transition for patients as they move through their treatment pathway.
Responsibilities
* Help provide a smooth transition for patients as they move through their treatment pathway.
* Provide specialist admin support to the Ophthalmology teams.
* Work within a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels.
* Communicate clearly and calmly with patients and colleagues, and work quickly and accurately under pressure.
* Carry out duties consistently and accurately, providing a high quality and efficient service in a confident and courteous manner.
Qualifications / Skills
* Highly organised and driven; passionate about patient care.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to communicate with patients and colleagues at all levels.
* Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Work Details
Based at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. Part-time role (22.5 hours per week). Hybrid working available (on-site and remote work).
