Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team of Visitor Experience Officers at The Museum of Lincolnshire Life. The Museum has a great programme of events and exhibitions throughout the year which celebrates Lincolnshire’s proud social history.
Responsibilities
* Deliver frontline operational services at site, for example: working in the shop and reception area, assisting customers during their visit and ensuring the site is a welcoming, safe, clean and attractive environment.
* Participate in living history events and craft activities.
* Assist in the development and execution of exhibitions and participate in creating content for our social media pages.
* Be flexible to undertake regular evening and weekend working.
* Act as a keyholder.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (Fluency Duty).
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to take on keyholding responsibilities.
* Willingness to participate in living history events and related activities.
* Experience or willingness to create content for social media and support exhibition development.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Additional Information
* Closing date: 22/02/26.
* Due to changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements of RQF Level 6.
* This position may be subject to a criminal records check.
* We operate a talent pool scheme for candidates not successful on this occasion for up to 3 months for equal positions.
