We’re now looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Edinburgh bodyshop, managing workflow, driving efficiency, and ensuring repairs are completed to the highest standards.
This is a key role within a fast-paced automotive accident repair / bodyshop environment, ideal for someone who can lead a team and keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
14. Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure repairs are completed on time and to standard
15. Allocate work to technicians based on skillset, priority, and workload
16. Monitor repair progress, productivity, and quality, resolving issues quickly
17. Liaise with Parts, Customer Service, and VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) teams
18. Ensure a safe, compliant, and organised workshop environment
19. Drive efficiency and support overall bodyshop performance
Skills & Experience
20. Proven experience as a Workshop Controller / Bodyshop Controller / Senior Technician
21. Background in accident repair, bodyshop, or automotive repair environments
22. Strong leadership and team management skills
23. Excellent organisation and ability to work under pressure
24. Good communication skills with a professional approach
25. Focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
