SEN Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & ASc)
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated SEN School located in the Poole area.
The school provides specialist education and care for pupils aged 2-19 years with Complex Learning Difficulties & Associated Needs, including Autism, Speech & Language Disorders, and Challenging Behaviour.
As a successful candidate, you will join a dedicated team providing a nurturing and caring environment for all pupils to excel and ensuring the best education possible.
Previous experience working within a school setting and/or with special educational needs would be advantageous but not essential, as ongoing training will be provided throughout the role.
This fantastic school offers a pupil-centred educational programme encouraging the development of all pupils.
Contract Details for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

Experience, Training, and Qualifications required for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
* Previous TA experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential if you have the right attitude and desire.
* A passion for working with children with ASD, Aspergers, and Complex Needs
* Proactive in the classroom and willing to participate in class activities.
* Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
* Willing to undertake personal care responsibilities.
To be eligible for an SEN Teaching Assistant role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references
