We are currently recruiting a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school based in Towcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional behavioural and emotional needs in a nurturing and structured school environment. This role is open to candidates who hold relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN/SEMH qualifications, as well as experienced but unqualified individuals who have previously worked within a school or support setting supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 or small group basis - Assisting the class teacher with delivering tailored learning and behaviour support strategies - Helping to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment - Supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural development - Promoting positive behaviour and managing challenging situations effectively The school is located in Towcester and provides a friendly team environment, ongoing support, and opportunities to develop within the education sector. This is a full-time position, starting immediately, working 5 days a week.
