About The Role Work with the Head of Delivery to meet the key business strategies and objectives. To develop, motivate and drive a team of tutors IQAs and assessors to successfully deliver apprenticeship programmes. To plan, resource and manage teaching, assessment and mentoring to retain apprentices and achieve maximum completions of the programme To manage apprentice progression and provide escalation point within the delivery team for employers To own and implement within the delivery aspects of the quality improvement plan, including conducting observations of teaching, learning & assessment, implementation of best practice and ensuring conformity to external body standards for delivery. Plan and manage training centre environments to support training delivery requirements To contribute to wider team projects and in particular support the development of new programme curriculum Building strong x-team engagement with wider management team, particularly to ensure good communication flow between delivery and sales. About The Person Work with the Head of Delivery to achieve agreed volumes for learner engagement, retention and achievement in line with business strategy and plans. Work with internal and external partners to ensure that agreed quality standards are met Work effectively with the employers to ensure that learners successfully complete their full apprenticeship framework by their planned achievement date. Ensure that all aspects of the Apprenticeship Programmes are delivered in accordance with the key processes contained within the organisation's Process Manual. Ensure that programmes are delivered in accordance with the organisation's Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety Policies. Provide good quality, accurate information and data on learner recruitment, retention, progress and achievement. Ensure all required learner documentation is available to support financial claims to the funding body. Your Skills & Experience Proven management and leadership capability Previous experience of managing assessors/tutors Good commercial acumen Proven experience of delivery high quality programme outcomes Ideally extensive work based assessment experience Direct experience of a similar role with apprenticeship programmes highly desirable Ideally having a recognised teaching qualification Recognised management qualification at L3 Proven experience of raising standards and improving team performance Full UK Driver Licence as travel required Extensive knowledge of government funded apprenticeship programmes Excellent knowledge of ILP and Review processes Knowledge of the IT Apprenticeship frameworks Knowledge of the Awarding Body requirements Good knowledge of the OfSTED Common Inspection Framework. Innovative approach to learning and clear grasp of modern training techniques essential Knowledge of progression routes to both HE and employment Good understanding of equality and diversity issues Working knowledge of Maytas/e-track/MIS systems Some knowledge of remote and e-learning delivery would be useful.
