Family Solicitor| 5+ PQE | Private Family Law
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a growing Family team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for a solicitor with 5+ years' PQE looking to manage a varied private family caseload with a high degree of autonomy, while working closely with an experienced Partner and benefiting from the support of a strong and collaborative team.
You will handle a broad range of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children work, cohabitation disputes, Schedule 1 claims, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. The role involves managing cases from start to finish, drafting key documents, advising on strategy, attending court hearings (including FDRs and final hearings), and liaising with counsel and other professionals.

The Person
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years' PQE in private family law. Key attributes include:
· Strong technical knowledge across private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, children work, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
· Ability to manage matters independently, with excellent case management skills.
· Confident in advising clients and attending hearings, including FDRs and final hearings.
· Collaborative, personable, and proactive, with a desire to mentor junior colleagues.
· Ambitious to develop their career and contribute to a growing team.
