Part-Time Temporary Accounts Assistant (2–3 Months)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team on a part-time temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, as you will be taking ownership of the payroll process to support the Finance Manager and Financial Administrator during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing
* Processing purchase invoices and credit notes
* Raising sales invoices and allocating payments
* Supplier statement and bank reconciliations
* Assisting with journals and balance sheet reconciliations
* Providing general support across the finance function
About You
* Proven payroll experience (essential)
* Sage experience (desirable)
* Confident with sales ledger and purchase ledger duties
* Strong reconciliation and accuracy skills
* Proficient in Excel and accounting software
* Able to work independently and as part of a small team
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
