Role summary
Pharmacy Dispenser position at Tesco in Winchester with pay starting from £12.87 per hour, increasing to £14.08 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. New colleagues are typically offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if preferred.
The role includes scheduled availability windows. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks notice of shifts. We are committed to flexibility, and even if your availability closely matches but isn’t exact to advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern pharmacies.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Talking to customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner and providing great service.
* Offering information on common ailments, symptoms and products; understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
* Advising on the range of pharmacy services available and supporting dispensing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and handling clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners.
* Responding to customer queries about prescription medicines and informing Pharmacists of any complaints.
* Ensuring dispensary routines and procedures are followed and dispensary/consulting rooms remain clean and organized.
* Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trade.
* Completing corporate and departmental training and keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
