We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer, you will be a key member of the production team where your actions will directly impact our overall site performance. To maintain the efficiency of our production lines, you will combine your engineering competence with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to lead and initiate change. With an aptitude to coach and mentor others, you will have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, dynamic manufacturing environment, and be able to quickly identify and remedy machine errors as they occur. This is an electrically biased role.
Job Role:
· Ensure plant & machinery equipment perform to the required standard
· Being responsible for all maintenance/engineering aspects including facilities, driving performance to meet, maintain and exceed quality, safety, efficiency, cost, people.
· Co-ordinating and motivating with all the team members team to achieve daily production targets and projects.
· Providing operational control for all elements of running production equipment to include set-up, maintenance, and cleaning.
· Monitoring, controlling, and carrying out basic fault diagnosis and repairs on equipment and machinery.
· Taking responsibility for good manufacturing practice with excellent safety standards throughout the business.
· Manage & implement own projects and continuous improvement.
· Keeping historical records of all necessary maintenance data. Repairs, daily shift report etc.
· Ensure that all work is in accordance with the health and safety rules and regulations
Skills & Experience:
Must have:
· Validated mechanical and maintenance experience
· Demonstrable experience of machine operation, fault-finding, and repair
· Logical approach to problem solving, and practical skills on plant equipment
· Skills in communicating effectively and mentoring/influencing others
· Able to find opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
· Ability to implement & manage projects
· Electrical qualifications, electrical installation, 18th edition wiring regulation.
Preferred:
· Previous manufacturing/factory experience
· Pneumatic systems basic knowledge

£30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience
