Duty Manager – Hotel du Vin
Location: Hotel du Vin Brighton
Salary: £33,000 per annum, 45 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Overview
You will be a hands on manager with experience working within a busy Food & Beverage Department. This role offers the opportunity to develop from Junior Head of Department to Senior Head of Department and ultimately to a higher HOD role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the smooth running of all customer‑facing departments, from working alongside the breakfast team, through a busy checkout period, to checking bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manager.
* Provide front‑of‑house leadership during set shift service times.
* Support Guest Relations activities and stay informed about local trends that may impact guest service.
* Progress to a Head of Department role and, after further experience, to a senior HOD position within the hotel group.
Qualifications
* Hands‑on managerial experience in a busy Food & Beverage environment.
* Experience as Junior Head of Department progressing toward Senior HOD preferred.
* Experience in Guest Relations is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of local hospitality trends.
