Role Description: We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to look after and grow a portfolio of foodservice and food manufacturing customers. You’ll play a key role in building strong relationships, keeping customers happy, and helping drive long-term growth for them and for us. This is an office-based role with regular travel to visit customers. Key Responsibilities: Manage and develop a customer base of key foodservice and food manufacturing accounts. Develop meaningful, lasting customer relationships that add value for both them and us. Understand customer goals, operations, and challenges to deliver solutions. Identify opportunities to expand business within existing and prospect accounts through innovation, collaboration, and category insight. Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, presentations, and industry events. Monitor and analyse sales performance, pricing, and profitability across your accounts. Support the delivery of business growth targets and commercial objectives. The ideal candidate must have: At least 2 years’ experience in key or national account management, preferably within foodservice, food manufacturing, or FMCG sectors. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills. Commercially astute with experience managing account profitability and delivering growth targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities. Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven. Flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs. Detail-oriented with a sense of accountability and ownership. Passionate about delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations. A supportive team player who fosters collaboration and trust. Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Office based (hybrid working considered) travel expected for client visits.
