Role overview
To install fire doors and frames at a variety of customer premises. Ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.
Key tasks
* Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames
* To be familiar with and understand the current Fire regulations to ensure the doors are fully compliant.
* To be able to identify labels, CE marks and Plugs to show that a door is certified.
* Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works
Service Delivery
* Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
* To set clearly defined service level agreements for your team.
* Contribute to the service training across the business.
* Monitor and report on the KPI’s on a daily basis to track progress and backlog for all customers, not exhaustive: Maintenance(PPM), Reactive, Small works
* Monitor and report job status to ensure all customers SLA and Regulatory (BAFE/NSI) requirements are met and exceeded.
People Management
* Set clear objectives for your team members providing regular feedback on performance.
* Manage performance across the team to ensure the achievement of service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements
* Manage any employee relations issues in line with the policies set out by the business
* Coach and develop the team to ensure they perform at a high level, ensuring colleagues maintain appropriate knowledge of the business products
* Address any training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan.
* Maintain ongoing communication with employees regarding their wellbeing
Managing Risk
* Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations.
* Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business.

* Some fire stopping experience would be beneficial.
