Overview
Capita Liverpool, United Kingdom. This role is within Pensions Solutions as a Business Intelligence Analyst. The role involves developing and delivering standardised management information to drive performance and support the business plan objectives. The position offers a mix of home and office-based working with attendance at the nearest Capita office (Liverpool or Cheadle) as required by business needs (1 to 5 days per week).
Responsibilities
* Design, development, and deployment of Operational BI solutions.
* Production of regular and ad-hoc BI for the business area.
* Production of daily/weekly/monthly report packages and supplemental reports.
* Provision of root cause analysis results to management.
* Regular reviews of reporting suite to ensure reports are fit for purpose.
* Liaise with other business areas for data gathering/analysis and provide support to the Operations Management team.
What we’re looking for / Qualifications
* Advanced Power BI skills, including building Power BI datasets from data sources (SQL, DAX, MDX).
* Experience configuring Power BI Gateways, Dataflows, and Power Query.
* Utilising Power BI Apps to present dashboards and reports.
* Standardising reports across a business.
* Power BI Premium features such as pipelines and lifecycle management.
* Advanced Excel skills, including linking to SQL data sources, Pivot Tables/Charts, VLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas, and the ability to write Macros/VBA.
* Azure skills, including query writing (CTEs, Union Queries) and ability to write/maintain Stored Procedures.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to present information to all levels of management.
* Ability to analyse data and present insights clearly; gathering/st interpreting stakeholder requirements; strong problem solving and attention to detail.
* Maintenance of current reports and ad-hoc reporting for business managers.
* Eligibility for enhanced security clearance (minimum 5 years UK residency).
