Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to manage Lidl's portfolio expansion in East Sussex and Kent, involving full asset lifecycle management from site identification, negotiation, acquisition, planning, to construction and asset management. You will develop relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers, overseeing the full development process from concept to completion. Strong communication, negotiation, multi-tasking, and deadline management skills are essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Identifying, negotiating, and acquiring land/sites for new stores.
2. Managing site inspections, development appraisals, due diligence, and planning applications.
3. Leading expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
4. Building relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Overseeing the full development and planning process.
6. Managing real estate assets.
Requirements
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
* Degree (minimum 2:2) in a relevant field.
* Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.
* MRICS qualification preferred.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
* Analytical mindset and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
