Senior Town Planner - Oxfordshire - GBP Competitive
Are you a skilled and ambitious Town Planner looking to step into a senior role? Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing planning consultancy, is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their expert team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile projects and be a key player in the firm's continued success.
The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning services to a wide range of clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Your role will include:
1. Managing and delivering complex planning applications, appeals, and reports
2. Providing expert planning advice to clients, guiding them through the planning process
3. Leading on client meetings, consultations, and negotiations with local authorities
4. Overseeing junior members of the team, providing mentorship and support
5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development
Key Requirements
* Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to chartership)
* Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a consultancy or local authority
* Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and procedures
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
