Position: Nursery Practitioner
Type: Permanent Part-time | 32 hours per week | 2 positions available (Monday - Thursday and Tuesday - Friday)
Salary: £12.64 per hour

We believe in the power of outdoor experiences, providing children with regular opportunities to enjoy fresh air, build confidence, and develop essential life skills through hands-on learning. You will play a vital role in promoting children's development through both planned and child-led activities. Plus, you’ll have the chance to participate in exciting extracurricular activities, including monthly sessions in French, Football, and Arts and Crafts!
We actively encourage our staff to engage with the wider community alongside the children, with outings to local spots like the post office, shops, or parks to enhance physical development. To ensure you feel confident in your role, we provide comprehensive training during your initial weeks with us.
Your Responsibilities:
* Support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
* Facilitate both planned and child-led experiences.
* Encourage outdoor play and exploration.
* Participate in community outings and extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
* Full and relevant Level 2 Childcare Qualification (Essential)
* Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years (Essential)
* Previous experience with babies under 2 years old (Desirable)
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating (Desirable)
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (Essential)
* Fluency in written and spoken English (Essential)
