Payroll Administrator
Location: Ingatestone, Essex
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:30 to 17:30
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Noble Recruiting are supporting a local client in Ingatestone with the recruitment of a Payroll Administrator. This role is ideal for an organised and detail‑driven administrator with experience handling payroll data, timesheets, and workforce records.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect and process weekly timesheets within agreed deadlines
* Cross‑check hours worked against internal logs to ensure accuracy
* Maintain and update payroll data using Excel spreadsheets
* Liaise with recruitment agencies to confirm hours and approvals
* Monitor holiday and sickness records and flag discrepancies
* Provide general administrative support as required
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential
* Payroll or timesheet processing experience is highly advantageous
* Experience supporting a large workforce is beneficial
* Strong Excel and data accuracy skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Must be a driver with their own vehicle due to the location
