United Living Infrastructure Services, a subsidiary of United Living Group, is building a team to deliver major infrastructure projects across the UK supporting the government's Net Zero transition targets. We are looking to appoint a Pipeline Interface Engineer to manage the interactions and connections between systems and components during the design, construction, and commissioning of an onshore CO₂ pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
* Interface Identification and Management – identify all relevant interface points within a project, including internal and external interfaces.
* Coordination and Communication – facilitate communication and collaboration between teams, disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on interface requirements.
* Interface Agreement and Documentation – develop and maintain interface agreements, registers, and other documentation to clearly define responsibilities and deliverables.
* Risk Management – identify and mitigate potential interface-related risks such as design clashes, material incompatibilities, or scheduling conflicts.
* Technical Reviews and Approvals – conduct thorough reviews of interface-related documentation and deliverables to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
* Schedule and Cost Management – ensure interface activities are properly integrated into the overall project schedule and budget.
Typical Tasks
* Prepare and conduct interface reviews with various stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain interface registers.
* Manage interface requests and agreements.
* Attend project meetings to address interface-related issues.
* Assess interface points during all phases of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
* Monitor and report on interface progress.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of onshore pipeline engineering principles and practices.
* Experience in interface management, preferably in a multi-discipline or multi-stakeholder environment.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with relevant UK industry standards and regulations.
* Experience with design risks associated with CO₂ onshore pipelines.
