A well-respected specialist school near Godalming is looking for an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The students therefore need an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills in Godalming and has on-site parking.
The ideal Intervention and Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be ideal for this position.

Details:
1. ASAP start
2. £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
3. Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
4. You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
5. Must be able to travel to Godalming
