Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Radcliffe. The school is dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. They are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their committed team.
About the Role:
As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to enhance learning experiences across a range of subjects. You’ll deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups, contribute to lesson planning, and play a key role in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, both inside and outside the classroom
* Contribute to classroom management and promote a positive learning environment
* Assist in the emotional and pastoral care of pupils
* Prepare learning resources and help track student progress
* Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar role
* A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development principles
