Role Responsibilities
* Preparing personal and partnership tax returns
* Reviewing returns prepared by junior staff
* Preparing capital gains tax computations and managing 60-day CGT reporting
* Handling multi-property rental accounts
* Submitting forms and returns to HMRC
* Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
* Preparing ATED returns and other HMRC-required forms
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Communicating job progress to managers and ensuring jobs are completed within budget
* Carrying out technical research and supporting ad-hoc tax projects

Candidate Requirements
* Strong tax knowledge and previous experience in an accountancy practice
* Experience in preparing and reviewing Tax Returns and related documents
* Good working knowledge of Excel and Word; experience with Central tax software is a plus
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* ATT qualification (or equivalent experience)
