A well-known, highly respected and independent insurance Broker based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join their Broker function.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the claims team while also handling a personal caseload of complex claims.
The Role
* Lead and manage a team of 3 Claims Handlers
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the claims function
* Handle and manage your own portfolio of claims
* Act as a senior point of escalation for complex or high-value claims
* Ensure excellent service delivery to clients and stakeholders
* Maintain strong relationships with insurers and Loss Adjusters
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven background in commercial claims within an insurance Broker environment
* Ideally experienced in handling professional indemnity and cyber insurance claims
* Previous experience managing or supervising a claims team
* Strong technical knowledge of claims processes
* Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with a personal caseload
