Senior Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care – Nottingham Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension A local authority in North East London is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team. The service promotes independence, resilience and wellbeing, supporting adults to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. As a Senior OT, you will lead on complex assessments, provide supervision to colleagues, and support the development of high-quality, strengths-based practice across the team. Main Duties: Undertake and oversee complex Occupational Therapy assessments, including reablement and Care Act assessments Lead on discharge planning, equipment provision, and complex adaptations Leadership and supervision of up to 8 Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Community Care Officers, ensuring professional governance and high service performance. Mentorship and role modelling, supporting colleagues through advice, quality assurance, guidance, and promoting collaborative problem-solving for optimal citizen outcomes.
