Title: Commercial Business Partner Salary range: £75 ,000 to £85,000 per annum Location: We would consider any UK office for the right candidate. Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. The Commercial Business Partner will play a pivotal role in the Market Facing Business Unit’s (MFBU’s) leadership team driving strategic business decisions through insights and analysis. This role focuses on enhancing profitability, optimising business performance and growth, and supporting strategic initiatives through in-depth commercial expertise. Our Commercial Business Partners: Act as a trusted advisor to the business, offering strategic and actionable insights, and recommendations on commercial matters to drive business growth and profitability Provide a balanced commercial view of the different components of a bid to enable optimal decision making, helping to bring together advice from around the business including legal, procurement and finance Provide an entrepreneurial energy and drive to growing the Frazer-Nash brand through balanced risk and reward propositions Understand client priorities and objectives, providing tailored and innovative commercial and pricing solutions Identify and escalate potential issues and concerns early to reduce impact Understand and communicate key financial concepts to support the MFBU strategy Advocate for change that enables sustainable growth by communicating simple solutions to complex problems Drive a culture of maintaining financial expectations on projects throughout their lifecycle by making and supporting data-driven and actionable recommendations Work with our MFBU Finance Business Partners to advise on the inputs and outputs of different types of financial models Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key clients and partners Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable contract terms and compliance with regulations, consulting with other key stakeholders where appropriate Support commercial governance of bids, ensuring appropriate qualification that aligns to MFBU strategy by communicating potentially complex solutions in a clear and concise manner Manage and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector policies and regulatory changes, providing key insights to the business that optimises our position in the market Provide guidance and coaching to key stakeholders within the MFBU to ensure decision makers and practitioners have the tools to make decisions that reflects the commercial strategy Person Specification Extensive experience in a senior commercial or financial role, with a strong track record in business partnering and strategic planning Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Strong negotiation and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with contract management and legal compliance Enjoy thinking outside of the box to provide creative and innovative solutions that optimises profitability whilst balancing risk Have a growth mindset and a drive to contribute to demonstrable success Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
