About the Venue:

This striking new venue is a bold expression of modern opulence, where refined luxury meets primal indulgence. Designed with theatrical flair, the steakhouse centres around an open kitchen and features a custom dry-aged fridge that proudly displays premium cuts as both spectacle and statement of quality. About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our pre-opening kitchen brigade. You’ll be part of a dynamic culinary team shaping a high-end steakhouse experience from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skillset in a premium venue, working with top-quality produce, world-class equipment, and a team that values both creativity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Phase
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Executive Chef in menu development and tastings
Participate in soft-opening services and menu trials to refine execution and consistency
Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and standards
Contribute to a positive team culture and high-performance kitchen environment from day one
Ongoing Operations
Manage your section with confidence and precision during service, ensuring quality and timeliness
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards at all times
Manage inventory, order supplies and minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-energy work environment
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations
About You:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a CDP or in a comparable position within a high-end restaurant or hotel
Experience across grill, cold larder, and/or pans sections
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
