A boutique analytics consultancy is seeking a business analyst to assist them in accelerating the data journey of a large organisation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric. Your will leverage your expertise in data analysis, Azure-based platforms, and data warehousing methodologies such as Kimball.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage business users to understand their needs and translate into technical requirement for development.
2. Source data samples for exploratory analysis.
3. Data process mapping.
4. Conduct analysis to generate summary level insights, data quality, and clean data.
5. Apply Kimball data warehousing methodology to inform design and development of dimensional models.
Requirements
6. 3-5 years Business Analyst experience
7. Knowledge of Kimball data warehousing methodology (star schema, modelling, ETL).
8. Proficient with SQL for analysis.
9. Experience in agile projects (low level CMMI) working with sprints.
10. Top level understanding of Microsoft Azure & Fabric.
11. Knowledge of BI tools.
12. Desirable experience in the technology consultancy world.
