We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Transport Liaison Officer (PTLO) to join our team based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.
Contract details:
Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours (6 days on – 6 days off, Monday to Saturday)
Role overview:
The PTLO position is key in bridging the gap between hospitals and our operations team daily. You will be involved in site and bed meetings to understand hospital demands and be the escalation point for your trust in bed crises, patient queries, and risk assessments. You will liaise between bed managers and EMED managers, assisting with patient flows within the hospital environment.

Additional duties:
* Planning and checking daily and future bookings
* Maintaining patient flow and resolving urgent issues
* Attending meetings, clerical duties, and relationship management
* Forecasting activity and supporting operational managers
* Handling patient inquiries and familiarizing with policies
Candidate requirements:
* Commitment to patient care
* Healthcare/hospital experience
* Knowledge of Non-Emergency Patient Transport services
* Workload planning and prioritization skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Decision-making ability and stakeholder relationship skills
