The role of DGM, as well as providing a senior point of contact to Admin and Clerical staff, works closely with clinical and nursing leads to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered, in line with the Trust policy and standard operating procedures. This is a busy, demanding and challenging role. Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have previous experience of leading a team, managing change and resolving complex problems. You will have experience at B7 level or have evidence of stepping up in the absence of a Band 7 role. You should be resilient, organised, work well under pressure and have exceptional communication skills.
You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the Trust's Access Policy is adhered to and that all relevant Trust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. You will bring knowledge of demand and capacity planning and in this role and have the ability to use data in order to drive decision making.
You will also be responsible for the personal development planning and learning needs of the staff within their own administrative team, as well as managing any human resource issues by providing direct supervision to the Administrative Teams. Excellent leadership skills and the need to demonstrate your ability to remain positive in challenging times are essential.

Person Specification
* Experience of service re‑design, workforce planning, change and demand management.
* Give examples of capacity and demand in community services
* Degree level education or extensive experience
* Evidence of change undertaken to evidence cost benefits
* Understanding of neighbourhood plan and priorities for WVT
* Ability to analyse, create and present highly complex information and to develop and workable solutions.
* Experience of financial management and budgetary control.
