Department: Health & Social Care. Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader in Health & Social Care. Basis: Hourly paid, Permanent. Pension: Teachers' Pension Scheme.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver and oversee high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment.
* Plan programmes of study that cater to the needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
* Foster students’ academic and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential.
* Design and implement lesson plans that bridge theory and real-world applications.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the learning experience and meet diverse student needs.
* Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through personalised guidance and support.
What We’re Looking For
* Hold a relevant minimum Level 3 qualification (essential).
* Be a qualified teacher or be willing to work towards it.
* Hold a relevant Degree qualification or equivalent.
* Have GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
* Possess up-to-date knowledge and/or experience of teaching Health & Social Care.
* Exhibit effective classroom management, time management, and strong communication skills.
