Admin Support Officer

* Location: Oxford (Hybrid Working: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
* Job Type: Full-time
* Salary: £14.23 per hour PAYE
* Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking an Admin Support Officer to join our Rough Sleeping & Single Homelessness Team. This role is crucial in providing administrative support to coordinate and manage access to supported accommodation under the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management and development of commissioned services, particularly in relation to supported accommodation.


Day-to-day of the role:

* Provide administrative support to facilitate the coordination and proactive management of access to supported accommodation.
* Assist in the management and development of commissioned services, focusing on supported accommodation.
* Update databases and record-keeping systems, ensuring alignment with other Council data and information systems for efficient coordination.
* Maintain systems during busy periods and in the absence of other team members, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
* Work closely with the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance, commissioning partners in other Oxfordshire local authorities, and a network of providers to ensure effective service delivery.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Previous experience in housing, homelessness, or a related field.
* Ability to manage a complex workload and work effectively in a busy environment with urgent and competing demands.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to form productive working relationships across various organisations.
* Commitment to developing the best solutions and services for some of the city’s most vulnerable people.
