Fixed term/secondment opportunity for 12 months to cover substantive post holders maternity leave.

*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated Nurse/Midwife/Radiographer to join our Obstetric Ultrasound Team.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be NMC registered as a nurse/midwife (RM/RN), or registered with the HCPC as a radiographer, have a DCR or BSc in radiography, post graduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound specializing in Obstetrics with relevant clinical ultrasound experience and evidence of post graduate education which may include a course in e.g. Ultrasound QA. They will be able to work autonomously and also have excellent technical and interpersonal skills ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
