Forde Recruitment, a leading provider of industrial and engineering recruitment solutions across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas, is currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turnerto join a highly regarded precision engineering company based in Sheffield.This is an excellent opportunity for skilled CNC machinists with experience operating Alpha (Guide-i) and L300 (Guide-i) machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.CNC Turner Responsibilities Operating CNC turning machinery including Alpha (Guide-i) and L300 (Guide-i) controlsManufacturing precision engineered components to customer specificationsWorking with specialist aerospace-grade materials including Inconel 718Monitoring machine performance and maintaining high quality standardsReading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specificationsCarrying out quality checks using precision measuring equipmentEnsuring production targets and machining deadlines are achievedMaintaining safe and efficient working practices within the workshopSupporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processesSkills & Experience Required Previous experience as a CNC Turner, CNC Machinist, or Precision EngineerExperience operating Alpha (Guide-i) and/or L300 (Guide-i) machinery is essentialKnowledge and experience machining Inconel 718 or similar high-performance materialsAbility to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or precision machining environments preferredShift Patterns Available - Permanent Days Monday to ThursdayStart time between 6:00am 7:00amFinish at approximately 2:30pm depending on start timeFriday: 6:00am 12:00pmor Split Shift Pattern 2 weeks on days2 weeks on aftersAfters Shift Monday to Thursday4:00pm 2:00amFlexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.Pay Rate Competitive salaryPay rate dependent on experience and skill levelApply For further information or to discuss the role, please contact the engineering recruitment team at:?? 0114 275 0501This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Forde Recruitment Ltd, operating as an Employment Business.TPBN1_UKTJ
