Job summary
We are seeking a Procurement Technology Category Manager to join our newly reorganised team and help deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of spend, acting as the subject matter expert for your category. You will lead sourcing strategies, manage tendering activity, and build strong supplier relationships across the full procurement lifecycle. Working closely with clinicians, senior managers and operational teams, you will ensure contracts deliver real value, efficiency and quality.
NHS procurement offers wide variety and opportunity, with exposure to technology, medical devices, estates, facilities and corporate services. You will be supported by established systems; a dedicated operational support function and a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement.

* Graduate Diploma in Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or appropriate professional institute or relevant experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in procurement and contracting leadership
Desirable
* Project Management (Prince 2 Practitioner desirable)
