We’re looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team in Bournemouth.

About the Role
As a Paralegal in our Personal Injury team, you’ll support fee earners on a range of clinical negligence and personal injury claims. You’ll play a key role in managing files, preparing evidence, and maintaining clear communication with clients and third parties.
This is a varied and hands‑on role where your attention to detail, organisation, and client‑focused approach will make a real difference.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting the management of clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
* Opening files, preparing retainer documents, and maintaining accurate file management.
* Ensuring key deadlines are tracked and met.
* Obtaining and reviewing medical records and evidence relating to financial losses.
* Preparing bundles and assisting with evidence collation.
* Drafting legal documents, including letters of instruction, witness statements, and court documents.
* Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and other third parties.
* Keeping clients regularly updated and managing expectations with sensitivity and professionalism.
* Conducting legal research on liability, quantum, and procedure.
* Supporting fee earners and contributing to overall team performance and KPIs.
* Responding to new client enquiries and supporting business development activity.
* Ensuring compliance with firm‑wide procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Keeping up to date with legal developments and best practice.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in litigation, preferably personal injury.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and client‑handling skills, with a compassionate approach.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
* Analytical and proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop.
