Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Secondary Tutor to support students in the DE4 Matlock area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with learners who require additional academic support to help them achieve their full potential.

* In-person tuition (home, school, or community settings)
* Flexible daytime hours (Monday to Friday, school hours)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions at secondary level
* Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
* Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities
* Build confidence, engagement, and academic progress
* Support learners who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be out of mainstream education

What We’re Looking For
* Experience tutoring or teaching secondary-aged students
* Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
* Experience supporting SEN learners (desirable)
* Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
