Job Profile:
We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our team. You will be an aspiring or newly qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA professional with strong analytical skills and previous experience in an FP&A or commercial finance role. Ideally, you’ll have at least 18–24 months in a similar position and be comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-site environment. Proximity to Crawley is preferred, with flexibility to travel to other locations as needed.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will support the business with insightful financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to provide meaningful data and recommendations that drive better decision-making and identify operational improvement opportunities.

As a Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in providing effective reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
* Partnering with site managers/operations leaders to identify efficiency improvements in profitability and working capital to drive performance, reduce costs, and enhance margins.
* Analyzing and reporting on stock levels, stock management, and SLOB provisions, including driving initiatives in these areas.
* Supporting and maintaining the setting of standard costs, including operational costs (BOMs, labor cost/hour calculations, etc.).
* Ensuring business improvement initiatives are created, reported, tracked, and challenged across the UK business.
* Supporting the wider commercial finance team with the preparation, review, and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs.
* Preparing and analyzing results against budget, forecast, and prior year, discussing variances with stakeholders.
* Supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle, especially during the annual budget process.
* Providing insights and analysis, including risk and opportunity identification in budgeting and forecasting.
* Assisting with the month-end process.
* Continuously improving controls, systems, and processes.
* Providing ad-hoc financial support on key strategic or tactical issues to support decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A graduate with strong academics, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Part-qualified (or newly qualified) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
* Ideally, 1–2 solid roles in FP&A or commercial finance.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
* Knowledge of Sage, Epicor ERP, Phocas BI, Power BI, SQL, and Axiom would be advantageous.
* Occasional travel to other sites – Reading and West Molesey.
* High levels of business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Strong organizational skills to manage varied activities across the UK.
* Good communication skills, able to communicate clearly at all levels.
* The ability to see the big picture while focusing on details.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
