Electrical Supervisor - East Kilbride - Salary up to £41,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Testing & Inspection (T&I) Supervisor to join a dedicated facilities team based in East Kilbride. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Technical Services Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the electrical testing and inspection contract across the Northern region.
* Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of systems at assigned sites, meeting health, safety, environmental, quality, and client service standards.
* Supervise and conduct scheduled electrical testing and inspection activities, including but not limited to:
* Emergency Lighting
* Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
* Illumination Levels
* Infra-Red Thermography
* Motors
* Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
* Static Discharge
* Lightning Protection
* Manage and perform repair works and equipment operations following best practices and relevant standards.
* Ensure all third-party contractors adhere to site safety protocols and procedures during their work.
* Work within Safe Systems of Work and site Permit to Work systems, ensuring robust controls are in place.
* Deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
Person Specification:
* C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline
* C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection
* 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
* CMMS (SAM FM) (Desirable)
* HND/HNC Electrical Qualification (Desirable)
* Valid Driving License
